About The Ayrshire Community Trust (TACT)

Its designed to empower those feeling stuck, unmotivated or uncertain about their next steps. Participants gain access to personal development training, supported volunteering placements, accredited training course and one-to-one coaching to help build confidence, purpose and new skills for the future.

The Kindness Krew is a community-delivered volunteer initiative aimed at tackling social isolation and creating a sense of belonging. By encouraging acts of kindness, promoting healthy relationships and creating new social circles, this initiative enhances well-being across North Ayrshire. Whether it is providing companionship or assisting with everyday tasks, the Kindness Krew demonstrates the transformative power of small acts of kindness.

TACT works closely with local communities to explore Community Asset Transfer. By supporting groups to take ownership of local facilities, we enable them to create sustainable, community-led initiatives. Our dedicated Development Officer offers step-by-step support on planning, governance and the entire CAT process, ensuring groups have the resources they need to succeed.

Our Employability Capacity Building support is aimed at working alongside and supporting employability providers in North Ayrshire with a goal of ultimately supporting people into employment.
